About the speaker:
Becky McLaughlin
Vice President of Marketing at WithMe
Becky McLaughlin is the Vice President of Marketing at WithMe, Inc. With over 20 years of experience, she has led marketing teams in healthcare, technology, and insurance industries. Becky earned her Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications. She serves on the advisory board for Pottstown High School's DECA marketing program, sharing her expertise to mentor future marketing professionals. In her free time, Becky enjoys globetrotting, volunteering, and spending time with her family and dog, Miles.

Jim Carbone
Vice President of Coffee Experience at WithMe
Jim Carbone is a respected professional with over 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, training, business development, and strategic planning. A results-focused operations and sales leader with versatility and passion, Jim is recognized for his strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and fact-based decision-making. He has strong managerial experience and is customer-centric, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Jim retired in September 2020 but re-entered the workforce in 2021 as WithMe’s Vice President of Operations. Jim cites WithMe’s unique business model as the reason why he jumped back into the working world.

Anne Djerai
CEO at Metropolis Coffee Company
Anne Djerai is the CEO of Metropolis Coffee and a coffee business expert with a passion for innovation, solution-based programs and disrupting the industry’s status quo. She has worked in distribution for commercial and specialty roasters and in all major channels of the industry. Anne holds a MA in Foreign and American Politics, speaks French and some Arabic, and works with several non-profits on causes near and dear to her heart. When she isn't running Metropolis Coffee, she is spending time with her 10-year-old son at her home in Chicago.

Sam Lyden
Director of Sales at Metropolis Coffee Company
Against the advice of friends and family, Sam Lyden studied philosophy in college, which primed him for a career as a bartender. After the better half of a decade tending bar and managing some of the best lounges and saloons in Chicago, he decided to try his hand in the coffee world. Attracted to the magic and complexity of coffee, and the fast-paced nature of the business, he now brings his hospitality expertise to Metropolis Coffee Company, where he serves as director of sales.
