I’m excited to announce that PrintWithMe has made the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. Ranked #659th, joins the ranks of Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Patagonia, and other household names that gained their first national exposure as members of the Inc. 5000 list. 2020 was a challenging and unprecedented year. With so many challenges brought upon as a result of the pandemic, and the resulting fallout, many firms struggled to adapt and overcome the circumstances. Over the course of the pandemic, PrintWithMe has not only managed to adapt, but thrive under the circumstances. We’ve managed to hit many important milestones and continue to grow at a record pace. We expanded to over 2,000 locations across the country, became profitable for the first time, and grew our team to over 25 individuals. During this, we successfully transitioned to a remote-first model, and led the way for other companies to decentralize their workforce, all while maintaining the culture that has fueled our growth.
All of this would not have been possible without the dedication and contribution of each member of the PrintWithMe team, and our incredible clients. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I’m looking forward to accomplishing more great things in the future.
Here are the top four multifamily technologies featured at this year's annual NMHC OPTECH conference in Dallas.
Trending topics at NMHC OPTECH this year included artificial intelligence, data privacy, and self-guided tours.
Over 2,000 professionals in the multifamily industry attended this year's NMHC OPTECH Conference. If you haven't already, check out our blog post on the Key Takeaways from Optech 2019 for access to summaries of speaker presentations and slides from the conference.
Many of the speaker presentations at OPTECH focused in on the topics of data privacy, artificial intelligence, and self-guided apartment tours, so we've decided to make a list of companies that have developed innovative technology in some of these areas.
Here is our list of the top 4 companies at OPTECH 2019 with innovative technology that will change the leasing process for renters and save time for your property staff:
Apartment Geofencing | Precise Prospect Targeting
Apartment Geofencing is a brand new company founded in 2019 by Matthew Kilmurry. Apartment Geofencing uses Simpli.fi technology to create digital fences around target zones that rental prospects are likely to visit such as competitor properties, neighborhood points of interest, employers, and more. Prospects in these areas are served targeted mobile ads that encourage them to visit the property website or make an appointment for a tour.
Apartment Geofencing clients can also place a geofence around their own property as a conversion zone, so they can track how many prospects from their target zones actually enter their leasing office. With geofencing, digital advertising can replace traditional community outreach and foot traffic can be digitally tracked. Visit ApartmentGeofencing.com to learn more!
LeaseHawk | AI Leasing Agent (ACE)
LeaseHawk recently introduced a new AI Voice Assistant technology called ACE in the summer of 2019. ACE is a virtual leasing agent that can distinguish callers from residents or prospects and is able to set appointments, check apartment availability, answer leasing questions, and collect guest card info.
ACE technology is able to answer leasing calls when agents can't get to the phone. With nearly 49% of phone calls being missed by leasing office, ACE technology can help fill the gap and give prospects the info they need to continue their leasing journey.
Tour 24 | Always Open. Always Leasing.
One of the most popular topics at OPTECH was self-guided tours. According to survey data, 40% of U.S. adults have passed on a property because they couldn't find time to see it. Almost all renters want to see an apartment before leasing, yet it's extremely hard to get to a leasing office after work.
Tour24 has developed an app that prospects can use for self-guided apartment tours, so that properties are able to keep their doors open for touring 24/7. Renters can follow audio and text prompts on their mobile phones and learn about a community using the Tour24 app. Many management companies have begun to augment their leasing experience with self-guided tours for after hours touring and re-tours. Check out the Tour24 demo video here to learn more.
PrintWithMe | Secure Resident Printing
While printing isn't the most sexy tech innovation, PrintWithMe has developed a product that you'll want to put some thought into. PrintWithMe offers self-service printers that encrypt resident documents and delete them after printing is complete, so that their information is kept completely confidential.
Data privacy was a hot button topic at OPTECH because of the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) legislation taking effect in January 2020. PrintWithMe addresses data privacy concerns related to printing, so that can print private documents confidently knowing that their documents are secure. Printing support is also available 7 days per week for residents and all supplies are auto-ordered and shipped directly to the property, so that leasing staff don't have to spend time dealing with printer issues.
That's a wrap of our Top 4 Companies at OPTECH 2019! We hope you've enjoyed our roundup of some of the most innovative tech companies in #Multifamily at the moment. We hope to see you at OPTECH in Vegas next year!
Ahead of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, PrintWithMe is now offering eligible Texas voters free printouts of voting documents as part of their new #VoteWithMe campaign.
PrintWithMe announced today that it is offering eligible voters in Texas to print their voting documents for the 2020 U.S. presidential election for free at PrintWithMe printer stations located throughout Texas, including Houston, Dallas, and Austin.
All eligible Texas voters will now be able to print up to two pages of their voting documents for free, including applications for ballot by mail and voter registration forms, as part of the company’s new #VoteWithMe campaign.
This #VoteWithMe campaign aims to make it easier for Texas voters, many of whom do not own their own printers, to register to vote and/or mail-in their requests for absentee ballots during COVID-19.
“We recently found out that for votes to be safely counted in Texas, voters may have to first print out and then mail in their registration forms and/or absentee ballot,” said Jonathan Treble, founder and CEO of PrintWithMe. “We want to make sure that access to printing isn’t going to get in the way of our Texas users exercising their right to vote.”
PrintWithMe is also engaging multifamily apartment communities in Texas to ensure that their residents can also utilize their PrintWithMe amenity to print voting documents for free. Joe Melton, Vice President of Marketing at The Morgan Group, a multifamily housing developer headquartered in Houston, expressed excitement about the #VoteWithMe initiative.
“We are very happy that PrintWithMe is allowing our residents to print their voter registration paperwork free of charge,” said Melton. “These are secure printers, and it helps to make sure eligible voters don’t miss the opportunity to cast their vote this election season.”
To enjoy free printing, Texas voters will need to complete three steps: 1) fill out voting forms electronically, 2) email completed files to any PrintWithMe printer in Texas, and 3) email their auto-generated Order Number to voterpromo@printwithme.com. PrintWithMe will then reply via email with a promo code enabling two free page printouts.
Detailed printing instructions and all printer locations can be found on their website here.
PrintWithMe ensures that all user documents are securely encrypted and immediately deleted after printing. Plus, PrintWithMe printers are all contactless, meaning that users will not have to touch the printer in order to print out voting documents.
“We take our user’s privacy and safety very seriously,” said Treble.
While the #VoteWithMe free printing offer will last until the U.S. Election Day on November 3rd, 2020, the last day to apply for a ballot by mail in Texas is on October 23rd, 2020. Absentee ballot applications in Texas must be received by then in order to be considered.
For questions regarding the #VoteWithMe campaign, PrintWithMe offers live customer support by email (support@printwithme.com) or by phone (773.797.2118).

Our team is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Alliance Residential Company. Read below for a reprint of our press release on Newswire today:
CHICAGO, March 10, 2020 (Newswire.com) -
PrintWithMe, the Chicago-based technology company bringing convenient printer stations to consumers nationwide, announced today a national agreement with Alliance Residential Company, the fourth largest manager of multifamily housing in the United States. Alliance is headquartered in Phoenix and manages a $20 billion portfolio of 129,000 units in 36 metropolitan markets. In 2019, the National Multifamily Housing Council named Alliance the top development company in the United States.
“We are proud to partner with PrintWithMe and are confident that their innovative printer amenity will exceed the printing needs of all of our residents nationwide, from millennials to seniors,” said Brian Bullock, Emerging Technology Analyst from Alliance. “We are always innovating with new secure technologies and smarter systems that improve experiences for our residents and staff, and PrintWithMe is a perfect complement to this effort.”
Founded in 2014, PrintWithMe is the leading multifamily printer amenity that enables residents to print wirelessly from any device in seconds. Using predictive analytics, PrintWithMe automates paper and toner ordering. End-users have access to a dedicated customer care team and data is encrypted. Through this partnership, Alliance properties gain access to a secure printing solution that is also CCPA-compliant.
“We signed up for PrintWithMe services when we first opened in August 2019. The services align perfectly with our resident co-working space,” said Ian Goodwin, Business Manager from Lenox Ridge Apartments, an Alliance-managed property in Austin, Texas. “As more residents work from home, we want to stay ahead of the challenges properties face with printing needs. No more running out of ink, buying excessive amounts of paper, or fixing broken printers. PrintWithMe manages the whole process, makes it easy for staff, and most importantly, provides us with a more efficient and secure resident experience. Our owners love that it saves us money on supplies and staff time. ”
Since opening in 2000, the culture at Alliance reflects an entrepreneurial spirit that consistently pushes the evolution of the multifamily industry. As a result, they continue to be recognized for delivering exceptional customer experiences and sustainable apartment living. PrintWithMe’s founder and CEO, Jonathan Treble, says their “full-service” multifamily printer station will not only provide a seamless digital experience for Alliance residents, but it will also help them promote sustainable printing and reduce individual electronic waste (a reported average of 550lbs per community).
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Alliance Residential, the forward-thinking industry giant that has consistently focused on innovation and best-in-class resident experiences,” said Joe Summers, Chief Revenue Officer of PrintWithMe. “We are excited to help not only simplify life for Alliance’s residents and staff, but also to help promote green efforts that encourage a culture of sustainability in apartments nationwide.”

We are thrilled to announce our new deal to upgrade multifamily apartments in Lincoln's portfolio of 203,000 apartment homes nationwide.
Our team is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Lincoln Property Company. Read below for a reprint of our press release on Newswire today:
CHICAGO, February 11, 2020 (Newswire.com) -
PrintWithMe, the Chicago-based technology company bringing convenient, mobile-friendly printer locations to consumers nationwide, announced today that they’ve entered into a national agreement with Lincoln Property Company, the nation’s second-largest manager of multifamily housing. Lincoln’s portfolio includes over 203,000 residential units in over 200 cities in the United States, with $30 billion in total assets under management.
"When looking for a printing partner, Lincoln was searching for an elevated amenity for our residents while also providing cost and time savings for our teams,” said Theresa Kaiser-White, Vice President- Asset Management and Procurement at Lincoln Property Company. “PrintWithMe checked all of the boxes, providing support seven days a week, auto-shipping supplies, as well as, making our residents' privacy a top concern. It has provided convenience for our residents while taking our teams out of the printing business.”
Founded in 2014, PrintWithMe is a wireless printer station that enables residents to print securely from any digital device in just a few seconds. Unlike traditional printing services, PrintWithMe’s printer amenity is found in convenient community locations nationwide, including multifamily apartments, coffee shops, co-working spaces, hotels, and more. Through this partnership, residents at Lincoln properties will have access to shared PrintWithMe stations that are easy to use and secure. All PrintWithMe printers are CCPA-compliant and use encryption and deletion technology to ensure resident privacy.
“We are so excited about the new national partnership between Lincoln and PrintWithMe,” said Scott Fleming, a Chicago-based Regional Manager with Lincoln. “One of the assets in my portfolio, The Madison at Racine, was the first Lincoln-managed property to sign up for PrintwithMe services in Chicago. PrintWithMe has truly revolutionized the resident experience. As more and more residents work from home we found ourselves unable to keep up with printing issues - running out of ink, running out of paper or fixing broken printers. Our IT department didn't have the capacity to manage a resident printing system and fixing printer issues were taking up a huge portion of the management team's day. Making the switch to PrintWithMe was seamless and resolved all of our issues with that amenity. Not only do they take care of managing the whole process, it now provides a more efficient and secure printing option for our residents, as they no longer have to log in on a community computer. Our properties found that making the switch resulted in savings for the property between money spent on supplies, repairs and employee time. With flexible plans to match any budget, it quickly was something that most of our downtown Chicago properties adopted and our residents appreciate it. “
With over five decades of industry leadership and 5,200 employees nationwide, Lincoln focuses on addressing the needs of residents across the full spectrum of multifamily property types, including luxury, high-rise, mid-rise, mixed-use, and affordable apartment living. PrintWithMe’s founder and CEO, Jonathan Treble, says their “full-service” multifamily product will help Lincoln meet the day-to-day needs of residents across every property type.
“Lincoln Property Company is an unquestioned industry leader in the multifamily industry, and PrintWithMe is proud to be deepening our relationship with this premier brand,” said Jonathan Treble, Founder and CEO of PrintWithMe. “Lincoln and PrintWithMe are both committed to quality, innovation, and providing the best experience possible for all residents. We are excited to grow together and further our team’s mission of making printing convenient for everyone, everywhere.”
