Our entire team at PrintWithMe is proud today to share our new official Green Policy that outlines our deep commitment to sustainability.
Our team at PrintWithMe is thrilled today to share our new official Green Policy. We believe it is vitally important to grow our business sustainably and we are committed to building a future where shared community printing is not only sustainable, but it can actually help reduce individual electronic waste.
Our Green Policy commitments include the following:
100% Sustainable Paper
Paper used at PrintWithMe print kiosks will only be made from renewable resources and sustainably managed forests.
We will source paper from partners who replenish forests and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council or the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, like Hammermill. In 2019, we also will begin offering recycled paper options at select locations.
Free Recycling Resources
PrintWithMe will commit to providing free recycling bins to all our partner organizations that do not already have one by our printing kiosk, upon request. Also upon request, our team will provide free recycled staplers for all users’ convenience and feature signage encourages users to reuse and recycle paper.
Free Printer Refurbishing Program
Rather than buying new PrintWithMe printer stations whenever technology issues arise, our company is committed to helping our partners fix and refurbish PrintWithMe devices for free. Our partners can ship PrintWithMe printers to our company, at no cost to them, and our Care Team will fix the device and ship it back to the business.
Reducing Individual Electronic Waste
For communities that have just one PrintWithMe station nearby, we find that they save up to 550lbs of individual electronic waste and 4750 kW of energy per year. We are committed to promoting a culture of shared community resources, versus individual printer, paper, and toner/ink consumption.
